Dominic Adiyiah Bio

Dominic Adiyiah (born 10 July 1989 in Accra) is a Ghanaian footballer, playing for Fredrikstad FK in the Norwegian Premier League.

Adiyiah began his career in the Feyenoord Academy and played with the team 2006 in the One Touch League. He joined then to Heart of Lions, where he scored eleven goals the previous season and stands in the Ghana Premier League All Star team. He was last season (2006/2007) the Most Valuable Player in the One Touch League. Adiyiah joined then 2008 to Fredrikstad, he is largely a replacement for former striker Tarik Elyounoussi, who has recently joined SC Heerenveen. On 06 August 2008 Adiyah has completed his move to Norwegien Premier League side Fredrikstad FK, there he played his first game on 30 August 2008 against Aalesunds FK.


Since 2007 he has played for the Ghana national under-20 football team. His first game was on 30 March 2008 against the Niger national under-20 football team. Adiyiah represented the under-20 national team, the Black Starlets at 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
